IMIT invites high school students to the VI Summer School of Excellence

The Institute of Mathematics and Information Technology of AltSU invites high school students (who completed grades 7-10) to the VI Summer School of Excellence in Mathematics and Informatics

Date: July 2022;

Format - mixed (2 weeks remotely + 1 week in-person);

Participation is free.

The summer school plan includes 3 weeks of immersion in the fascinating world of non-school mathematics, computer science (including combinatorics, cryptography, the basics of C++ programming). In addition to lectures and seminars on several key topics, the following events will be organized:

• master classes on the use of modern information technologies (online);

• master classes in preparation for the Unified State Examination in specialized mathematics and computer science (for children who have completed 10th grade) (online + in person);

• master classes on project work (in-person);

• popular lectures (online + in-person);

• quiz "IT expert" (online + in-person);

• meeting with a successful graduate of the Institute of Mathematics and IT (online + in-person);

• on the final day of the school, participants will be able to take part in the game "JOURNEY TO SEVEN ISLANDS" and will certainly receive souvenirs from IMIT and our industrial partners (in person)

The teachers of our school have been trained under advanced training programs for working with talented schoolchildren at the Sirius Educational Center and the MIPT Phystech Lyceum.

During remote classes, consultations on the main topics using the teleconferencing system will be held. We will broadcast offline classes (if technically possible).
