International Biotechnological Symposium "Bio-Asia 2015"

International Biotechnological Symposium Bio-Asia – 2015 took place in Altai State Technical University from September 14 to September 18.

The Symposium was organized by Altai State University and Altai Krai State Administration with the support of Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation , Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Science, State Duma Committee on Health, Russian Society of Biotechnologists Named after Y.A. Ovchinnikov, Association of Innovative Regions of Russia, Technologicl Platform “Food and Processing Industry Technology APK – Healthy Foods”, Technological Platform “Bio Tech 2030”, the Council of Rectors of Altai Krai, Asian Universities Association, Altai Biopharmaceutical Cluster.

The aim of the event was the discussion of topical issues of biotechnology development and presentation of scientific achievements in the areas of medical, industrial, agricultural, foodstuff, ecological and forest biotechnology.

The Symposium mission was the presentation of the latest biotechnological achievements in Russia and abroad, the exchange of experience in modern methods development and implementation, improvement of the biotechnological research effectiveness.

The working languages were Russian and English.

The participants included more than 210 people from Russia, the United States of America, China, New Zealand, Israel, Japan, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, etc.
