On April 27, volunteers from the "Boomerang" squad of the Altai State University College assisted in organizing the "DobraFest" festival for special children. The event took place at the "Temp" sports complex and celebrated the seventh anniversary of the volunteer project "Mikhutka."
The large-scale charity festival featured performances by nine popular artists from across the country, with all proceeds supporting the continued development of "Mikhutka." Approximately 4,000 people attended the event. Initiatives like this help special children become happier and more open to the world around them.
College students, alongside volunteers from Russian Railways, actively participated in preparing and cleaning the arena both before and after the concert. They also provided essential support to wheelchair users, accompanied children and parents to medical appointments, and guided spectators to their designated sectors.
– I believe that such events are among the most significant. My role was to maintain order in the room, navigate the participants, distribute water and provide assistance when needed. The performers were all open, smiling and friendly, shared Veronika Belikova, a volunteer of the Boomerang squad.
The volunteers of the Boomerang squad not only helped with the festival, but also gave Mikhutka a gift from a child.
