– For me, joining such an authoritative scientific council is, first of all, an acknowledgment of the unique bioresource collection at Altai State University at the highest level. Since 1982, Altai State University has been diligently building and expanding its herbarium. Today, in terms of the size of our herbarium, we occupy seventh place across Russia. The council’s mission is to develop measures for the preservation and further advancement of Russia’s bioresource collections.”
