The program "Economic security" is aimed at training highly qualified economists-analysts with knowledge and competencies in the field of economic security, in accordance with the needs of the state and business for work in the economic security and anti-corruption departments of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, departments of Rosfinmonitoring (financial intelligence), departments of the Federal Treasury, the Audit Chamber, the Federal Tax Service, financial, credit institutions, commercial organizations. Specialists in economic security have comprehensive knowledge of economics, law, detection and investigation of economic crimes, risk assessment and management, and mitigation of threats to economic security at all levels.

What training you get

The training of economic security specialists is based on the competences of a high-level analyst in economics and jurisprudence. Graduates know the basics of economic analysis, internal control and audit in order to ensure economic security; know the main methods of identification, analysis and assessment of economic risks; are able to prevent and disclose economic crimes. During theoretical and practical training together with industrial partners students learn to analyze economic information, to develop a strategic integrated risk management system, to provide and manage auditing activities.

Career opportunities and graduates

The future profession of the graduates of this direction is the specialist in economic security: operative worker of the department of economic security and prevention of corruption; auditor, auditor, judicial and economic expert, tax inspector, specialist and head of departments and services of economic security, specialist and head of internal control service, specialist and head of economic and analytical services and departments of any organizations and institutions.
