In the course of study, students acquire the skills to:
- setting the purpose and specific objectives of research in various areas of sociology and solving them using modern research methods;
- participation in drawing up and executing professional scientific and technical documentation, scientific reports, social and legal expertise;
- preparing drafts of research and analytical developments in accordance with normative documents;
- processing and analysis of data for analytical decisions, expert opinions and recommendations;
- planning and carrying out research work in the field of public opinion study, organizing the work of marketing services;
- participation in academic and applied research, analytical and consulting activities;
- use of various methods of collecting, processing and interpreting complex social information for the solution of organizational and managerial tasks;
- use of basic provisions and methods of social sciences and humanities in analytical work, consulting and expertise within the framework of industrial-applied activity;
- development of proposals and recommendations for solving social problems and reconciling the interests of social groups and communities based on the results of research;
- conducting sociological analysis in the processes of development and adoption of management decisions, in assessing their practical effectiveness.
