What training you get

The program contains course modules consisting of professors' lectures, case studies, and discussions. We study subjects that allow us to conduct scholarly work in the field of modern linguistics, theory and practice of speech communication, literary criticism, as well as a number of professionally oriented disciplines: linguoconflictology, basics of legal linguistics, document linguistics, professional rhetoric, methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language, modern literary criticism, fiction in relation to other arts, and disciplines that enhance digital competences.

Career opportunities and graduates

The program creates modern communication professionals in a variety of fields. General philological training allows the graduates to find application in the institutions of education, culture, management, mass media, intercultural communication and other fields of social-humanitarian activity. Students have an opportunity to get an additional education in a number of specialities in demand: teacher of Russian as a foreign language, linguist with profound knowledge of legal issues, etc.
