The Master's program is aimed at training highly qualified, competitive specialists with knowledge in the field of geoinformatics, modern geoinformation methods and Earth remote sensing data processing in application to professional tasks of geoecology and environmental management; methods of fundamental and practice-oriented geographical research; modern technologies and tools for territorial development and decision-making with the use of spatial coordination
The Master's program corresponds to highly rated educational programs and is based on international and national strategic programs: "Digital Earth", "National Technological Initiative 2035", "Digitalization of Russia", "Digitalization of Agriculture", "Smart City", "Health", as well as educational programs of the world and national level with the reflection of regional conditions and tasks of sustainable development. It has no analogues in the universities of the south-east of Western Siberia.
